Wind Turbine Project Nearing Completion
Press Release

ISHPEMING, MI - After more than two years of waiting, Pioneer Bluff Apartments in Ishpeming, Michigan will soon be powered by a WindStor® vertical axis wind turbine.

The first of two truckloads of blades for the WindStor® installation were delivered this morning to the installation site adjacent to the 88-unit apartment building.  A second truckload of blades is scheduled for delivery later this week.  Several truckloads of other components have been arriving at the site since early December.  The remaining components will be delivered over the next few weeks throughout the installation completion process.

MTI Energy Management / Lighting Specialists, which took over the project, said it should take no more than a month to complete the project, weather permitting.  Following completion of the installation the turbine will go through a series of engineering tests lasting about a month before Pioneer Bluff begins to receive the full benefits of onsite generated alternative energy.

Clean Green Energy will own the installation when it is completed and will sell the energy generated to Pioneer Bluff under a long-term, fixed-rate, agreement that will stabilize their energy costs.
